General description

Tawny owls are the most abundant owl species in the UK, commonly found in deciduous and mixed woodlands, as well as urban areas with wooded parks or large gardens. As cavity nesting birds, they naturally use large tree cavities, which are often scarce in modified landscapes. Our Tawny Owl Nest Box is designed to provide a suitable nesting site, replicating a hollow branch or tree cavity preferred by tawny owls. Its unique tubular shape may appear unusual, but it effectively meets the owls' nesting needs.
