Thompson's 10 Year Roof Seal is a high-performance coating that cures to form a durable, flexible membrane. It is suitable for resealing and protecting entire roofs or repairing large areas of damage across various roofing materials. The 10-year formulation is designed to flex with the natural movement of the roof, preventing cracking and splitting over time. UV light stable iron oxide pigments provide a protective shield against harmful UV radiation, ensuring 10-year weatherproofing performance under extreme conditions.

Preparation

Scrub the surface with a stiff bristle brush to remove dust and dirt.

Repair any structural faults if needed.

Cut open any old felt blisters and ensure any ponding water is dry before securing the felt with tacks.

Fill any cracks and level any depressions in the roofing felt.

Application

For best results, apply on a dry day above 10°C.

Stir the tin thoroughly before and during use.

Apply using a brush, roller, or soft broom in long, smooth strokes over the repair area.

Wait 6 hours before applying a second coat.

Clean Up

Clean your equipment in warm water and detergent.
