Personally I really like the size of this cooking area. Big is best right! Misses doesn't agree but we've compromised. If a smaller set up is required you can always put the stand up but leave one side collapsed. We have a large porch on our tent but due to the size of the unit we can't effectively protect the cooking area from the elements so simply collapsing one side means you can cook under cover. There's a storage space that sits directly underneath the stove area. We don't use as its easier to stack plates and pans on the shelf that's already in place. Apart from a shaky start upon receipt of this product, the faulty unit was finally replaced.

We bought this to go in our awning when we go camping. It’s very sturdy and has plenty of storage. The heat shield works fine and the kitchen comes in a carry case for easy transport.
