Description
The underground cable detector is an indispensable tool for detecting and locating buried cables and wires. It uses an advanced frequency generator to emit an audible alarm whose intensity depends on the distance from the cable. In noisy environments, external headphones allow for better hearing. This device is specifically designed for locating unenergized or low-voltage cables (less than 24V). Technical specifications: Detection depth: up to 60 cm; Detection range: up to 1000 m; Power supply: 9V alkaline batteries (not included); Cable length: up to 1 km. Operation: When using the detector, connect the red clamp to the cable being tested and the black clamp to ground. This strengthens the signal and improves detection efficiency. The high-sensitivity volume control and headphone jack offer convenient and comfortable operation. Other information: Do not use on live circuits to avoid damaging the device. This detector is compatible only with single-conductor or dual-conductor cables and is not compatible with multi-conductor or multi-group cables.
