Description

• The Union 2234E 5 Lever British Standard Mortice Sashlock is designed for timber doors hinged on either side. It is suitable for doors up to 54mm thick. The lock features a 20mm deadbolt that can be locked or unlocked from either side using the key, providing secure deadlocking and increased resistance against forced entry. The lock includes anti-pick, anti-saw, and anti-drill security features, with a chamfered bolt design that enhances performance under side load testing and makes drilling attacks more difficult. It is supplied with a matching covered escutcheon and has a unique pierced casing to accommodate bolt-through door furniture. The lock is recommended by insurance companies, certified to BS3621:2007 (British Standard), and approved by the police Secured by Design initiative. It comes with a 15-year guarantee.
