The awning looks good enough when put together,but the instructions are rubbish.You should get a degree for competing it.

If you have a degree in engineering or you are a rocket scientist then you will still struggle to build this awning. If not don’t put yourself through the pain. The instructions were written by a alcoholic one eyed armadillo. None of the items were numbered, there was no clear advice on assembly just poorly illustrated diagrams that you need the hubble telescope to see. Product quality not too bad once built awning works reasonably well. If you want a challenge and have the time and patience of a saint then give it a go.

Really pleased with the quality of the awning - seems well designed and probably more durable (and heavier) than some of the competitors product on YouTube. Some points to note which led me to give it 4 stars, rather than 5. Firstly, the instruction booklet is not always clear - it’s only A5 and illustrations only. Would be much better if it was A4 with fewer illustrations per page. Secondly, it would help enormously if the key components are also numbered to match the numbers in the instructions - first time of asking, I fitted the extending arms the wrong way round as it was not clear at all which was the left and which was the right. Very frustrating! Thirdly, it’s very heavy when assembled and incredibly awkward to get mounted on the brackets because of the height - there were 4 of us in total and it was still a big ask. That being said, I feel it’s tremendous value for money.

So far weather proof. The installation was really hard though. The pictures quite tiny and difficult to follow. You need two people to install this, very very heavy. Recommended.

This was purchased as part of a garden transformation. Skipping to the end with the awning on the wall, we love it however getting it to the point where it was on the wall for us to use was a bit of a battle. It does need assembling and arrives in about 3 or 4 (15-25 kg) boxes. Not really a problem except for the next bit. The instructions are very poor... There is a diagram of each part and how many of each part there should be and that is helpful but the real let down is that there is no step by step instructions, just 1 exploded diagram and you have to sort of work it out from there. Fortunately I had some help from the builders who were working on my garden but it really did challenge us, it's also really heavy once assembled so really needs at least 3 of you to hook it onto the (3) wall brackets.
