The bed is interesting in that it can be transformed into a 180 bed. On the other hand, in terms of the robustness of the product, that is another matter. The wood sections are far too small and the hardware too weak. This makes the bed rickety and flimsy. it forced me to reinforce it at the level of the headboard on the sides by inserting crosspieces to stiffen it. The low quality 8mm plywood slats are a bit tight for my taste. I hope that the assaults of my children will not get the better of the bed. The finishes leave something to be desired. The wood is just planed if not at all, not deburred (presence of wood burrs from sawing) and not sanded. I had to sand it to round off the sharp edges. I even wonder if a finishing product was applied?! You have to guess the assembly instructions. She is not intuitive. without a minimum of logic, we can't do it. Nothing to do with its giant competitor of kit furniture. I do not recommend this bed to a novice in the field. Certainly for the displayed price we should not expect a cabinetmaker product but there is a minimum all the same!!!
