General description

This liquid wax polish is designed to nourish, protect, and enhance the natural beauty of all types of wood, including furniture, panelling, doors, and staircases. It provides a highly lustrous, hard-wearing finish that helps to cover scratches and marks while preventing wood from drying out. Well-known for its quality and pleasant aroma, it is particularly suitable for large interior surfaces.

Installation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust before application.

If necessary, remove old waxes and dirt using a wax and polish remover.

Shake the product well before use.

Apply sparingly with a soft, lint-free cloth, brush, or spray gun.

Allow to dry for about 1 hour before buffing with a clean cloth or polishing brush.

For best results, apply multiple thin coats, buffing between coats to build a desired sheen.

Usage

Apply the wax evenly on the surface using a cloth, brush, or spray.

Allow the wax to dry to a touch, approximately 1 hour.

Buff the surface with a clean cloth or polishing brush to achieve a lustrous finish.

Repeat the process on very dry or new wood for optimal results.

Do not wash with water; wipe over with a cloth or duster as needed to maintain shine.

Other information

Not suitable for humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms; consider using oils or varnishes in those environments.

Always test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.

Dispose of residues and cleaning solvents responsibly, avoiding environmental contamination.

Helps with wax removal but not as effective as I hoped. Still requires a lot of scraping to shift thick wax. Pricey for what it does.

Libéron is a French brand of V33, the leading manufacturer of paints and stains mainly for wood. The group owns the V33, Cecil, Diamantine, Libéron and Plastor brands. It was founded in 1953 in Domblans (Jura). In the 15th century, the royal abbey of Saint-Antoine des Champs obtained a privilege exempting craftsmen from paying taxes when they set up shop on its land. The Seine also provided cabinetmakers in particular with access to their raw materials. Georges Libéron made a name for himself at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900 with his antiseptic and parasiticide polish. One of its variations was the famous Oké paste. In 1990, V33 acquired the Libéron group, which specialised in cabinetmaking products and was the French leader in its field, having invented the legendary Black Bison wax, a decorative product for all surfaces. V33 and Libéron are very committed to protecting the environment: 50% of production is solvent-free, glycol ethers have been eliminated, and great care is taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
