Lightly pigmented and satin, the Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints in Light Red Cedar is a natural oil-based and microporous finish that does not crack, flake, peel, or blister. It is designed to be water and dirt resistant, moisture regulating, and helps reduce wood swelling and shrinkage. This product has been developed to resist the fading of wood's natural color to a grey patina over time due to external weathering elements, while adding a tinted color of your choice to enhance the wood's appearance. It is ideal for use on windows, doors, cladding, fencing, and other vertically structured joinery, providing a UV protection factor of 12 compared to untreated wood.
