Installation

Prior to fitting, ensure the threads on the nuts and bolts are well greased.

Maintain a spacing between the grips of at least 6 times the diameter of the rope.

Orient the grip correctly, placing the 'U' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope.

Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings.

Leave unused for 24 hours and check the torque setting again, re-tightening if necessary.

After the first application of the load, re-check the torque setting and re-tighten if necessary.

Periodically check the torque setting during service.

The main use of wire rope grips is to create loops in wire rope, providing a secure and reliable connection for various applications.
