Installation

Prior to fitting, ensure that the threads on the nuts and bolts are well greased.

Maintain a spacing of at least 6 times the diameter of the rope between grips.

Orient the grip correctly, placing the 'U' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope.

Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings.

Leave the assembly unused for 24 hours and check the torque setting again, re-tightening if necessary.

After the first application of the load, re-check the torque setting and re-tighten if necessary.

Periodically check the torque setting during service.
