General description

Zinsser B-I-N® Aqua is a high-performance, white-pigmented, low-odour, water-based, synthetic shellac-based knot block primer and sealer. It combines fast drying times with unrivalled adhesion and excellent coverage, effectively sealing a variety of stains and odours.

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or other contaminants

Apply with a brush, roller, or spray in a well-ventilated area

Apply one or two coats depending on the surface and coverage needed

Allow sufficient drying time between coats

Usage

Priming: Use as a full-surface primer on various surfaces for better adhesion and coverage

Spot priming: Ideal for sealing knots, resin, rust stains, and water stains

Sealing: Penetrates porous surfaces to provide a smooth, sealed finish

Odour and stain blocking: Effectively seals odours from smoke, fire damage, nicotine, and other stains
