General description

Easy Surface Prep (ESP) is a wipe-on/wipe-off product designed to prime and prepare shiny surfaces for painting. It eliminates the need for sanding, making the surface ready for paint or varnish to bond effectively. ESP is safe, effective, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, ideal for non-porous surfaces such as ceramic tiles and melamine units. It is colorless, virtually odorless, and can be easily applied with a lint-free cloth.

Usage

ESP is perfect for various applications, including:

Updating melamine kitchen furniture

Repainting bathrooms without re-tiling

Revamping tired or outdated furniture

Upgrading inexpensive furniture

Preparing baked lacquers and enamels

Applying on glass surfaces

Installation

To use ESP effectively:

First, clean and dry all surfaces to remove oil, grease, and contaminants.

For greasy or waxed surfaces, scrub with a green scourer or 00 steel wool soaked in ESP.

Wipe clean after 5-10 minutes and follow standard application instructions.

Apply ESP generously with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.

Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then lightly wipe the surface in one direction to remove excess ESP.

Let it dry for 2 hours before applying the finish.

Other information

Application tools: Lint-free cloth, brush, roller

Clean all tools and equipment with soap and water after use.

Shake well before application and do not thin.

Ensure the new finish is compatible with the old finish.

Do not use ESP for dipping.
