The retro shelves are made of solid reclaimed wood that has been sourced from joists, floors and support beams from old buildings being demolished, and it can consist of different types of wood like pine, teak, beech, oak, mango wood, acacia, etc. This means the reclaimed wood retains the characteristics of these different types of wood. Reclaimed wood is already aged, weathered and dried, so it doesn't shrink or bend. Every step of the process is carried out with the greatest care, be it polishing, painting or lacquering. Published on 27/05/2022, SpainThe wood is very natural, without any kind of protection, or varnish, or anything. In fact, when you take the boards out of the box, a lot of sawdust comes out, and there are some edges that are not well finished. In fact, a table was broken, but we realized it when we were already finishing the assembly... There are also several lines marked with a highlighter, as if to mark where they had to cut it or something like that. Aesthetically it is not bad, but it lacks robustness. Practicality 10/10. With the finish it has, I wouldn't buy it again.

Published on 23/11/2020, United KingdomLooks good once constructed. But Acacia Wood is one of the hardest around and dioes tend to crack. A power tool is needed to allow effective construction. This should be made plain in the instructions. The tool provided is totally inadequate.
