The 40100 Carbon Steel Hub Puller is a removal tool designed to safely remove frozen hub assemblies without damaging other suspension components. It is compatible with most 5, 6, and 8-lug wheel hubs, making it a versatile tool for cars and trucks.

Installation

Before loosening the hub assembly, use hardened washers and lug nuts to force the bolts against a solid surface and secure the 1/2-inch drive plate to the hub. To loosen the hub assembly, insert the hardened threaded set screw to push against a solid surface. To completely remove the hub, the set screw must push from at least two different solid points.

Use

The hub puller tool is designed to remove frozen hub assemblies by applying pressure to solid points, ensuring effective removal without damaging surrounding components.
