The Bloggs 5 Tonne Horizontal Log Splitter runs from a standard 230V supply via a 2000W motor, giving 5 tonnes of splitting force without the noise, fumes, or maintenance of a petrol splitter. It's built for domestic firewood preparation, handling logs up to 520mm long and 250mm in diameter, covering most seasoned hardwood you'd be preparing for a wood burner or open fire.
The horizontal design keeps the log securely positioned during the split for consistent, controlled results, and the integrated safety cage adds operator protection during use. At 53kg it's solid enough to stay stable under load rather than shifting or rocking mid-split. The 3-litre hydraulic oil system drives smooth ram operation, and at 120cm x 40cm x 62cm with the cage fitted, it fits in a garage, shed, or workshop without needing dedicated storage space.
