Published on 14/10/2021, FranceGood product. Strong enough for most logs except some with knots. On the other hand, the lower protective sheet is already twisted because of certain logs which create a pressure on it. It does not interfere with the use but this sheet deserves to be thicker ... I take 1 star for that but overall satisfied.

Published on 15/03/2021, United KingdomInjured my wrist using my axe and decided that a log splitter would be wise. I'm so pleased I did. Make no mistake, it is a heavy unit but once the frame is fitted it is very easy to manoeuvre. The frame is a bit fiddly and a hammer and a chunk of wood was needed to fit some of the pieces together. I have a log burner using 250cm long logs so this 5 ton model designed for a maximum 300cm log is perfect . Simple to use and splits very easily, but do take sensible safety precautions. I haven't fitted the cage, but if I decide to use for splitting kindling it will be a necessity. I wish I'd bought one years ago.
