maXpeedingrods' B1 series Coilovers Spring Kit is designed for BMW E36 Saloon models from 1990 to 1998, including 318i, 320i, 323i, 325i, and 328i. This kit is ideal for those looking to replace worn-out struts while enhancing handling performance. The damping is factory preset and the height is adjustable to maintain original equipment (OE) ride quality as much as possible. Please note that no top mount is included, and modification is required if you use OE top mounts.

Installation

Installation should be performed by licensed mechanics and in compliance with local modification regulations. Ensure all components are tightened to the correct torque specifications, which can be found in the vehicle service manual, before and after installation. Avoid using an impact wrench during installation as it may loosen or damage the product. Check the clearance between tires and suspension; a minimum clearance of 4mm is recommended. If clearance is insufficient, consider adding wheel spacers.

Usage

Regular maintenance is suggested for the coilovers. Spraying with WD40 every 3-4 months will help keep them smooth and clean, extending their lifetime. Check and tighten all nuts, bolts, and locks to prevent noise and potential issues.
