General description

Our Concertina Loft Ladder provides the perfect access solution for those "awkward" applications where the loft opening or floor space is limited. Its compact design allows the ladder to be stored within the hatch perimeter, maximizing storage space in the loft. The ladder comes fully assembled, making it the quickest and easiest loft ladder to fit. It is designed to fit almost any hatch size, provided you can get your shoulders comfortably through the loft opening.

Extra deep treads: 80mm

Wide treads: 340mm

Minimum loft aperture: 450mm wide and 570mm long (600mm on 3.35m and 3.66m models)

Available sizes: Fits ceiling heights of up to 3.66m

Installation

The ladder is easy to fit with basic DIY skills and comes with a kit to convert an existing ‘push up’ hatch into a ‘swing down’ alternative. The conversion kit includes a hook attachment that can be secured to a pole for operating the ladder (pole not included).

Usage

The loft ladder features a clever, double sprung mechanism that supports its weight when being lowered or raised, making operation light and easy. It can be set at various climbing angles, providing greater flexibility for small loft entrances. The ladder takes up just 450mm directly above the hatch, ensuring no loft space is occupied outside the hatch perimeter.

Other information

Red rubber wheels are attached to the base of the ladder to protect hard floors or carpets. The treads can be easily unbolted as needed to fit your application.
