General description

Our Concertina Loft Ladder provides the perfect access solution for those "awkward" applications where the loft opening or floor space is limited. Its compact design allows the ladder to be stored within the hatch perimeter, maximizing storage space in the loft. The ladder comes fully assembled, making it the quickest and easiest loft ladder to fit. It is designed to fit almost any hatch size, provided you can get your shoulders comfortably through the loft opening.

Installation

The Concertina Loft Ladder is easy to fit with basic DIY skills. It is supplied with a kit to convert an existing ‘push up’ hatch into a ‘swing down’ alternative. The conversion kit includes a hook attachment, which can be secured to a pole to operate the ladder (pole not included).

Usage

The loft ladder features a clever, double sprung mechanism that supports its weight when being lowered or raised, making operation light and easy. It can be set at various climbing angles for greater flexibility, making it perfect for small loft entrances.

Other information

Red rubber wheels are attached to the base of the ladder to protect your hard floors or carpets. The treads can be easily unbolted as required to fit your application.
