Please note that the advertised size is the length of the top rafters. The first dimension is for six runners on top and the second dimension is for two main beams. The redwood posts can be concreted into the ground for stability, finishing the structure at 2.3m high.

This is a nice strong pergola which was easy to assemble although you do need a fairly large flat area to assemble each end, bearing in mind that once it’s together you need to be able to get it to the required position! (Which I failed to think of!) It arrived sooner than expected and I’m very pleased with it.
