Cylinder leak detector set vidaXL

The manometer contains a screw and a special nut that I dismantled: the thread of the nut was totally damaged hence the non-functioning. I replaced this party with something else to make it work.

I am satisfied, despite the fact that I will need to find a quick adapter for the compressor. Some of us are still equipped with older compressors!

The product was received quickly and tested immediately. There was no leak detected, which is very good. The valve on the device works well and makes the device quite useful, as it allows the user to limit and control the injected air pressure. However, in terms of negative aspects, the out-flow manometer (which indicates the pressure of the air leaving the cylinder) does not work properly. It looks like it is not correctly calibrated, so needle moves all over the place. This does not prevent the product from working correctly, although you will need to have sharp listening skills in the case of trying to find a leak, which is a real shame. I would still recommend the product, especially at this price. It does the job without any issues. In any case, I had the choice between this kit, which I will only use once every 10 years, or a 200 Euro alternative. Ps: It's a shame that there are no instructions provided, although in all fairness, you don't have to be a genius to figure it out.

When using for the first time, I noticed that the residual pressure reading manometer was stuck at the stop. While logically it should indicate the maximum inlet pressure! In addition, the percentage graduation has no interest. I will replace it with a conventional pressure gauge to read the true residual pressure. Finally, I hope. Otherwise totally unnecessary purchase!
