General description

The Eco Bat Access Box is designed to provide a safe entry point for bats into existing roost sites during building renovations or new constructions. It can be integrated into various materials such as brickwork, stonework, timber cladding, or external insulation. The box replaces six standard UK bricks, ensuring that the cavity remains unobstructed while allowing bats access.

  • Materials: Recycled LDPE plastic outer with internal OSB roost chamber
  • Entrance: 17mm wide slot
  • Roost Chamber: 2 crevices 22mm wide
  • Access to wall cavity through parallel slots 25mm x 160mm
  • Fixing: Held in brickwork by mortar/sealant

    • Installation

    The Eco Bat Access Box can be easily installed into brickwork, stonework, or external insulation. It is designed to replace six standard UK bricks without obstructing the cavity, allowing for a seamless integration into the building structure.

    Usage

    This access box is ideal for ensuring continued access to established bat roosts during building refurbishments and renovations. It provides a new roost space for bats, particularly suited for pipistrelles and other crevice-dwelling species.

  • Self-cleaning design allows droppings to fall out of the entrance slot
