The Integrated Eco Cavity Bat Box is designed to be built into buildings, providing a permanent roost space for bats. It features an external shell made of UV stabilized recycled plastic for long-lasting weather protection, while the internal roost chamber is constructed from orientated strand board (OSB). The box is available in two variants: crevice and cavity, accommodating a wide range of bat species.Technical specifications

Compatibility and accessories

Installation
- Held in brickwork by mortar/sealant
- Position as high as possible in a sheltered sunny place
- Ideally, several boxes should be installed facing different directions to provide a range of conditions
Usage
- No access once fitted; self-cleaning design allows droppings to fall out of the entrance slot
- Signs of occupation include droppings on the landing area and chittering noises from inside on warm afternoons and evenings
- Be patient, as it may take several years for bats to find and explore new homes
