The Eco Rocket Bat Box is an innovative solution for providing a safe roosting space for bats when traditional mounting options like buildings or trees are unavailable. Made from weatherproof recycled LDPE plastic, it features a wooden internal roost chamber that offers a comfortable environment for bats. The design allows bats to move freely within the box, selecting their preferred micro-habitat.

    To install the Eco Rocket Bat Box, approximately 1m of the pole should be buried below ground. The pole is dispatched separately for ease of shipping, and the only tool required for installation is a spanner to fix the box onto the pole.

    Usage

    This bat box is ideal for use in mitigation projects, ensuring maximum solar gain by placing it in an unshaded area or positioning it along bat corridors, such as hedgerows. It is often utilized on building sites to provide an alternative roost for bats during demolition activities.
