General description

Everbuild Plumbers Gold is a high-performance sealant and adhesive designed specifically for plumbing and bathroom applications. Utilizing advanced hybrid polymer technology, it provides exceptional adhesion to a wide range of materials including hard plastics, ceramics, glass, metals, and more. This versatile product can be applied to wet surfaces and even works underwater, making it ideal for challenging environments. It contains Microban, an anti-bacterial agent that prevents black mould, bacterial growth, and discolouration for up to 10 years, ensuring long-lasting seals and bonds in both interior and exterior settings.

Installation

Cut the tip of the cartridge and fit the nozzle.

Apply using a standard sealant gun.

Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, grease, or loose material.

Priming is generally not necessary but can be done with diluted PVA Bond on dusty surfaces.

For bonding heavy items, apply adhesive around the edges and press into place, supporting until cured.

For sealing joints, mask surrounding areas, apply the sealant, and tool within 5 minutes for a smooth finish.

To fix mirrors, apply beads of sealant to the back, position the mirror, and support until fully cured (24-48 hours).

Usage

Ideal for sealing and bonding in plumbing applications such as pipes, WC pans, waste traps, baths, sinks, and around tap bases.

Suitable for bonding shower trays, mirrors, ceramic ware, and fixing extractor fans.

Can be used underwater and in wet conditions, providing waterproof and weatherproof seals.

Clean uncured material with white spirit; cured material can be removed mechanically.

Other information

Not suitable for use in potable water systems or structural glazing.

Avoid use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticizers and in high UV exposure areas where discoloration may occur.

Preliminary adhesion tests are recommended on natural stone and plastics before full application.

Do not use with undiluted bleach or in conjunction with bitumen or asphalt.

Ensure proper support for heavy or large items until the adhesive or sealant has fully cured.
