I'm no expert. My goal was to cut lacquered melamine-coated MDF fronts without duplicates. The cut had to be perfect for kitchen fillers. Objective achieved. Be careful of the markings on the blade; this isn't the special laminate/melamine/laminate blade. It's the blade for HPL panels. So, while it's certainly not the special blade for melamine-coated MDF panels, the objective was nevertheless achieved and the result was as expected. The cut was clean, no chips, and I was completely satisfied. All this with the blade installed on an old, worn-out DeWalt circular saw, over 30 years old, borrowed from my father, a mason who had a blade of the same age.
