Description

General description

These chrome plated curved electric towel rails feature an energy-efficient PTC electric heating element, combining cost-effective operation with excellent handcrafted build quality. They are filled with a glycol solution to prevent freezing and corrosion, while also reducing noise compared to traditional towel warmers filled with water. The high specification heating element operates safely at a stable temperature of 70°C, which can be adjusted with a dimmer switch, eliminating the need for a thermostatic control unit.

Installation

This towel rail must be installed outside of the bathroom and connected via a switched 5amp fuse box by a qualified electrician.

Usage

The towel rail operates at full power until it reaches the desired temperature, after which the power is reduced to maintain that temperature, making it more cost-effective than standard electrical elements. The timer allows for energy savings by heating rooms only when needed.

Other information

A small air gap is provided within the filled rail to allow for liquid expansion when heated.
