Description

General description

These chrome plated flat electric towel rails feature an energy-efficient PTC electric heating element, combining cost-effective operation with excellent handcrafted build quality. They are filled with a glycol solution to prevent freezing and corrosion, while also reducing noise compared to traditional towel warmers filled only with water. The high specification IP64 rated CE approved PTC electrical element ensures a safe and stable temperature of 70°C, which can be adjusted by installing a dimmer switch. The element operates at full power until the towel warmer reaches its working temperature, after which the power is reduced to maintain this temperature, making it more cost-effective than standard electrical elements. The heated towel rail is constructed from mild steel, plated with 40 microns of copper, 15 microns of bright nickel, and a minimum of 60 microns of chrome plating, providing superior corrosion and rust resistance along with a flawless luxury finish. Central heating and dual fuel versions are also available.

This is a simple, small towel rail ideal for a tiny bathroom or available wall space. It looks very good. However, the only problem is because of the design you can only fit a very tiny towel over the rails. (The fixing bars should be further to the sides rather than set in so they obstruct the towel folding over the main heating bar.). So if you just want to put a smallish towel across for a shower and you want a little rail next to the shower, it's perfect.

Product is exactly as expected and managed to mounted it to the wall and rewire it myself. One thing to note is that in the description it says “colour/ appearance: green” which is obviously just an error in the description as it is definitely chrome as per the title and picture.
