With annual production of over 16 million pump units, Grundfos is one of the world's leading pump manufacturers. Heating and air-conditioning circulators and other centrifugal pumps for industry, water supply, waste water and dosing are the main products. Today, Grundfos is the world's leading manufacturer of circulation pumps, with around 50 per cent of the global market for these pumps. The Pompes Grundfos France production unit in Longeville-lès-St-Avold produces more than 15,000 circulators and 1,000 cold water pumps a day. The company has been ISO 14001 certified since 1997. As such, it is one of the very first companies in Lorraine to have had its environmental commitment validated by an internationally recognised certificate. This commitment to transparency has led to the development of an environmental declaration, the purpose of which is to provide an annual assessment of the production unit's environmental performance and to define increasingly ambitious targets for reducing its impact on the environment.
