These large bird boxes are approximately three times the size of small bird nest boxes and are designed to provide nesting sites for a range of larger bird species that require a bigger nesting box. Depending on the location and the collection of species present, you may find it occupied by jackdaws, doves, or pigeons. It’s also the ideal size for tree-nesting ducks such as goosanders and goldeneye, with mallards also known to nest in boxes in trees.
