General description

The Large Colony Bat Box is specifically designed for large maternity colonies of Common and Soprano Pipistrelles. With an internal volume of 0.019 cubic meters divided into three crevices, it provides ample space for several hundred bats. The box features ceramic heat sinks and a black external color to enhance heat absorption, ensuring a stable internal temperature that is crucial for the bats' well-being.

Signs of occupation include droppings on the landing area, stains around the lower parts of the box, and chittering noises from inside during warm afternoons and evenings
