To maintain the velvet fabric, clean with dry shampoo and a wet sponge or a mild cleaner, and vacuum with a suitable attachment.

For rubberwood, clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth in the direction of the grain, and wipe dry immediately after cleaning.

For items with an oiled finish, may be re-oiled after some time to keep them in good condition.

Please note that the appearance of the velvet fabric may vary under different lighting conditions and when stroked in different directions.

To even out the color and remove dents and creases, stroke the material with an open palm in one direction, wipe with a damp cloth, or use a steam iron.

I love this product! Actually much more comfy than it looks, nice quality , great - vibrant - colour and adds a touch of opulence to a room. Definitely needs two people to put it together as you need to slide the whole seat section into metal slots in the arms. A word of warning too: one of the slots on mine was fitted upside down, which made it impossible to slide in. (My clever Dad worked it out, I wouldn't have had a clue!) If you're struggling, just check that the 'stopper' in the metal is at the bottom of where you are trying to slide it (sorry - this sounds confusing, but will make sense when you see it!) Apart from that, all great. Recommended!
