General description

Lightly pigmented and satin, the Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints in Light Red Cedar is a natural oil-based and microporous finish that does not crack, flake, peel, or blister. This product is designed to be water and dirt resistant, moisture regulating, and effective in reducing wood swelling and shrinkage. It protects against external weathering that can fade the natural color of wood to a grey patina over time, while adding a tinted color of your choice to enhance the wood's natural appearance. Ideal for use on windows, doors, cladding, fencing, and other vertically structured joinery, it provides a UV protection factor of 12 compared to untreated wood, effectively blocking the greying process.
