Description

General description

Dilunett is a solvent and paraffin-free paint stripper designed to effectively remove oil and alkyd-based paints, varnishes, and wood stains. Its powerful formula can strip up to 8 coats of finish in a single application. The gel consistency ensures it does not run, making it ideal for vertical surfaces and intricate designs. Biodegradable and non-flammable, Dilunett is safe for use in poorly ventilated areas.

Installation

Remove any loose and flaking paint and brush off surface contamination (e.g., moss, dirt).

Apply a thick coat of Dilunett over the entire surface to be stripped.

For woods rich in tannins, work in zones to prevent excessive darkening.

Allow the product to work for the average working times specified below.

Usage

Average working times for removal:

1 coat: 5-15 mins

2 coats: 10-30 mins

3 coats: 15-45 mins

For acrylic paints, conduct a small area test to determine working time.

Remove Dilunett and dissolved paint using a stiff nylon brush or paint scraper while flushing with water, or use a pressure washer.

Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after stripping.

Immediately treat all porous surfaces with Net-trol while still wet to neutralize.

Other information

Do not use on aluminum, "weak" woods (such as veneers), or coatings like 2 pack or baked-on paints.

Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and protective clothing during application.

For best results, do not let Dilunett work longer than necessary to dissolve the paint.

If the wood darkens, do not allow it to dry before using Net-trol to restore its original color.

Cover and protect areas not intended for stripping, including plants and shrubs.

In case of drying, mist the surface with water to dampen.
