General description

Oxid Vernis is a single pack clear varnish enriched with polyurethane-modified alkyd resins, designed for use on new or oxidized metals that have been treated with Owatrol Oil. It maintains the natural look of the surface while providing long-lasting protection. This varnish combines performance with ease of application, offering high UV resistance and suitability for harsh climates. It is ideal for both interior and exterior metals, including gates, furniture, fences, and ornaments, and can be applied on horizontal or vertical surfaces.

Technical specifications

Coverage: 18m² per litre per coat

Drying Time: Touch dry in 5 hours, Recoat in 24 hours, Fully dry in 24 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)

Application Temperature: Between 5˚C and 35˚C

Usage

Ideal for ferrous and non-ferrous metals

Great for highly humid interior environments

Clean surface regularly with a brush, vacuum cleaner, or fresh water

For the first 14 days, do not clean with water

Avoid aggressive chemical cleaners for dirt removal

Ensure the room is well ventilated when using indoors

Cover areas not intended for painting
