Our Pole Mounted Roost Maternity Bat Box is designed for optimal bat habitation when suitable buildings or trees are unavailable. This product allows bats to choose between different boxes based on solar gain and thermal conditions throughout the year. The box can be mounted on a 4m, 5m, or 6m pole, ensuring it is placed in the best position for maximum solar exposure.

  • Installation

    To securely install the Pole Mounted Bat Box, approximately 1m of the pole should be buried below ground. It is recommended to consult a builder or structural engineer as ground conditions may vary. The pole will be shipped separately from the bat box and bracket. The only tools required for installation are a spanner or a screwdriver (for the metal band version).

    Usage

    This bat box is ideal for ensuring maximum solar gain by placing it in an unshaded area or on a hedgerow. It provides a safe and suitable environment for bats, allowing them to thrive.
