Installation

• Prepare the surface by sanding with 120 grit sandpaper to remove old finishes and smooth the surface. Clean with white spirit and a cloth to remove dust.
• For new wood, lightly sand, clean with white spirit, and allow to dry. Follow specific guidelines for veneer.
• Stir the stain thoroughly before use. Test on a small area to check color.
• Apply with a brush in the direction of the grain. For best results, apply three coats, lightly sanding between coats. Allow each coat to dry for four hours.

Usage

• Apply the stain in thin, even coats, following the grain of the wood.
• Allow sufficient drying time between coats. The final coat should dry for at least 12 hours before exposure to rain or weather.
• Clean brushes and any accidental stains with warm, soapy water.
• For touch-ups or repairs, sand the affected area and reapply the stain as needed.
