Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Varnish in Dark Oak Satin is designed to enhance the natural beauty of your wooden floors while providing exceptional protection against everyday wear and tear. This tough varnish dries quickly, is low odour, and is available in multiple colours to suit your decor.

Usage: Interior on new or previously varnished wooden floors

Dry time: Touch dry in 30 minutes

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius.

Remove furniture and open doors and windows for ventilation.

For unvarnished floors, sand with 120 grit sandpaper and clean with white spirit.

For varnished floors, lightly sand with 120 grit sandpaper and clean with white spirit.

Apply the varnish with a 4” brush, starting from the corner furthest from the door.

Wait two hours between coats, lightly sanding with 240 grit sandpaper before the third coat.

Your floor will be ready to walk on in two hours and can have furniture replaced after 24 hours.

Usage

After 72 hours, the floor can be vacuumed and swept without damage.

To maintain the finish, clean with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dirt and scuffs.

Brushes can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water.

For scratches or damage, apply three coats over the affected area or use the Scratch Repair Kit for touch-ups.
