General description

Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil nourishes decking while providing a beautiful natural finish. It is tough against changeable weather conditions and can withstand general wear and tear, lasting twice as long as standard decking oils. This unique formula penetrates deeply into the wood, offering increased durability and a lightly tinted finish that enhances weather resistance and foot traffic protection.

Installation

For untreated grey and weathered wood, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore the deck's natural colour before application.

For previously finished decking, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove contaminants.

Ensure all loose, flaking, or peeling coatings are removed.

For new decking, allow it to weather naturally for approximately 6 months before applying the oil.

Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Test the cleaning effectiveness by splashing water on the deck; if beading occurs, re-clean.

Usage

Apply the oil using a brush, ensuring to follow the recommended number of coats for optimal protection.

covers easily however, doesn't last for as long as is suggested. decking still needs staining every year.
