Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil nourishes decking while providing a beautiful natural finish. It is designed to withstand changeable weather conditions and cope with general wear and tear, lasting twice as long as standard decking oils. This unique, water-based formula utilizes Linseed Oil technology to color and waterproof your deck in one easy step, offering superior protection and a lightly tinted finish that enhances the natural look of the wood.

Installation

For untreated grey and weathered wood, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore the deck's natural color before application.

For previously finished decking, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove contaminants.

Ensure all loose, flaking, or peeling coatings are removed.

For new wood, allow it to weather naturally for about 6 months before applying the oil.

Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Test the cleaning effectiveness by splashing water on the deck; if beading occurs, re-clean.

Usage

Apply the oil using a brush, ensuring even coverage. It is primarily for use on pre-treated decking. Testing a small area before full application is recommended to determine the final color, as it may vary based on wood texture, grain, and previous treatments.

covers easily however, doesn't last for as long as is suggested. decking still needs staining every year.
