General description

Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil nourishes decking while providing a beautiful natural finish. It is designed to withstand changeable weather conditions and cope with general wear and tear, lasting twice as long as standard decking oils. The unique formula penetrates deeply into the wood, offering increased durability and a lightly tinted finish that enhances the natural look of your deck.

Installation

For untreated, weathered decking, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore the deck's natural colour before application.

For previously finished decking, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove contaminants.

Ensure all loose, flaking, or peeling coatings are removed to avoid patchiness.

New decking should be allowed to weather naturally for approximately 6 months before applying the oil.

Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Test the effectiveness of the cleaning by splashing the deck with water; if beading occurs, re-clean.

Usage

Apply the oil using a brush, ensuring to follow the recommended number of coats for optimal protection and finish.

covers easily however, doesn't last for as long as is suggested. decking still needs staining every year.
