One dowl went through the top , and the unit jad many scuff marks the top itself was very poor quality with obvious brush marks where they had tried to cover up marks/scratches

Published on 30/05/2023, United KingdomAmazing value for money. Got it so I can add cushions and paint it another colour to suit my interior. Instructions were not detailed and it meant that I had my middle shelf with screws showing when it could’ve been facing down - had instructions been clearer. I did find it simple enough to build though and I love that there weren’t too many different type of screws. It was basically a dowel or screw and the dowel holes were bigger. Some of the planks had extra holes drilled out which made it harder to figure out which way things should go. I definitely think this is a nice shoe bench and exactly as advertised.
