Installation
- Prior to fitting, ensure the threads on the nuts and bolts are well greased.
- Maintain a spacing between the grips of at least 6 times the diameter of the rope.
- Orient the grip correctly, placing the 'U' bolt on the unloaded end of the rope.
- Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings.
- Leave unused for 24 hours and check the torque setting again, re-tightening if necessary.
- After the first application of the load, re-check the torque setting and re-tighten if necessary.
- Periodically check the torque setting during service.
