Description

General description

These chrome plated flat electric towel rails feature an energy-efficient PTC electric heating element, combining cost-effective operation with excellent handcrafted build quality. They are filled with a glycol solution to prevent freezing and corrosion, while also reducing noise compared to traditional towel warmers filled only with water. The high specification IP64 rated CE approved PTC electrical element ensures a safe and stable temperature of 70°C, which can be adjusted using a dimmer switch. The element operates at full power until the towel warmer reaches its working temperature, after which the power is reduced to maintain this temperature, making it more cost-effective than standard electrical elements. A bidex timer is included for controlling the towel rail's operation, allowing you to set specific times for it to turn on and off or to activate when the temperature drops below a certain level, promoting energy savings.

Installation

This towel rail must be installed outside of the bathroom and connected via a switched 5amp fuse box by a qualified electrician. A small air gap is provided within the filled rail to allow for the expansion of the liquid when heated.

The radiator itself is attractive and easy to install, the timer provided is the most complicated piece of equipment ever, almost impossible to schedule and saving the time is impossible.
