Drybase Lime Inhibitor Concentrate 500ml

Drybase Lime Inhibitor is a surface treatment for fresh concrete designed to suppress the release of free lime, or calcium hydroxide, that can obstruct cavity drainage waterproofing systems. Applied directly to newly laid or cut concrete, it prevents lime leaching while maintaining a breathable surface. This makes it particularly effective in Type C waterproofing systems such as car parks, underground structures or other areas requiring reliable moisture management in accordance with BS 8102. Supplied as a 500 ml concentrate, the product is diluted at a 1:9 ratio with water before application. Two uniform coats should be applied wet on wet by brush, roller or coarse sprayer. Once dry, the coating remains breathable, alkali-tolerant and non-hazardous in its diluted form. One 500 ml bottle treats up to 25 m2 of prepared substrate. This water-based treatment is ideal for reducing lime build-up and protecting system integrity over time.
