Description

General description

Solvent-Free and Eco-Friendly Block Paving Sealer designed to prevent weeds from growing in the joints of block paving. This water-based formulation is free from solvents, resulting in no smell or fumes, making it safe and easy to use. It effectively inhibits the growth of weeds and moss while providing protection to the paving blocks.

Technical specifications

Volume: 5 Litres

Formulation: Water-based, solvent-free

Standards: Manufactured to BS5750/ISO9001

Coverage: 1.5 m² per litre for the first coat, approximately 4.0 m² for the second coat

Application temperature: Above 12°C

Appearance: Opaque when wet, clear when dry

Installation

New Blocks: Apply as soon as possible after installation, ensuring excess sand is removed.

Older Blocks: Clean thoroughly with a power wash, stain remover, and fungicidal wash as necessary. Allow blocks to dry for 4-5 days before re-applying jointing sand.

Application method: Use a watering can or apply directly from the container, spreading the solution with a squeegee to ensure full absorption into the jointing sand.

For best results, apply a second coat within 3 hours at a ratio of 4 m² per litre.

Usage

Restricts weed and moss growth.

Stain and oil resistant.

Not suitable for clay pavers.

Health and Safety: Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed; irritating to skin. Wear appropriate safety wear at all times.
