Description

General description

These chrome plated curved electric towel rails feature an energy-efficient PTC electric heating element, combining cost-effective operation with excellent handcrafted build quality. They are filled with a glycol solution to prevent freezing and corrosion, reducing noise compared to traditional towel warmers filled only with water. The high specification IP64 rated CE approved PTC electrical element ensures a safe and stable temperature of 70°C, which can be adjusted with a dimmer switch. The towel rail operates at full power until it reaches the desired temperature, then reduces power to maintain it, making it more cost-effective than standard electrical elements. A bidex timer allows you to control when the towel rail operates, enabling energy savings by heating only when needed.

Installation

This towel rail must be installed outside of the bathroom and connected via a switched 5amp fuse box by a qualified electrician. A small air gap is provided within the filled rail to allow for the expansion of the liquid when heated.
