How it works

1. Pre-scan calibration tool

After selecting a mode, press and hold the scan button (located on the right side of the tool) to calibrate the tool. Wait for the reduction lever to disappear and a beep to confirm that the calibration is complete. If you accidentally shake or lift the scanner, you must recalibrate the device and, in Metal/AC mode, place it in the air to calibrate.

2. Scan the wall

Once the stud finder has found the material, the LCD screen will indicate the direction and the intensity of the beep will let you know if you are closer to your target.

3. Find the stud location
