Installation

Installation of the K04-001 turbo may require modifications, particularly to the intake pipe due to the larger compressor inlet size (48.7 mm compared to 45 mm for K03-052 and K03-053). A silicone hose may be necessary for the compressor intake connection. It is highly recommended to have a professional perform the installation.

Usage

Before installing the new turbocharger, it is crucial to analyze and eliminate the cause of the previous turbo's failure, such as insufficient oil supply or foreign bodies in the intake area. Ensure that the original turbo part number matches the K04-001, K03-052, or K03-053.
